With Warren Ellis, longtime collaborator of Nick Cave, Dirty Three extends one of the most striking partnerships in the alternative scene.
A cult trio, rare and deeply moving, whose every performance feels like a singular event.
Dirty Three are a Melbourne, Australia instrumental trio formed in 1992, known for blending post-rock, folk, classical and free jazz.
Members Warren Ellis (violin), Mick Turner (guitar) and Jim White (drums) gained acclaim with albums like Ocean Songs (1998) and Toward the Low Sun (2012).
Their latest album, Love Changes Everything (2024), marks their return after 12 years, featuring the lead single “Love Changes Everything I.” They are celebrated for atmospheric crescendos and emotive soundscapes.
They’ve collaborated with Nick Cave, Cat Power, Bonnie “Prince” Billy among others.

Avec Warren Ellis, fidèle complice de Nick Cave, Dirty Three prolonge une des collaborations les plus marquantes de la scène alternative. Un trio culte, rare et bouleversant, dont chaque apparition est un moment d’exception.
Dirty Three est un trio instrumental originaire de Melbourne, en Australie, formé en 1992, connu pour mêler post-rock, folk, musique classique et free jazz.
Ses membres, Warren Ellis (violon), Mick Turner (guitare) et Jim White (batterie), ont acquis une reconnaissance grâce à des albums comme Ocean Songs (1998) et Toward the Low Sun (2012).
Leur dernier album, Love Changes Everything (2024), marque leur retour après 12 ans, avec pour single principal « Love Changes Everything I ». Ils sont célébrés pour leurs crescendos atmosphériques et leurs paysages sonores empreints d’émotion. Ils ont notamment collaboré avec Nick Cave, Cat Power, Bonnie « Prince » Billy, entre autres.
