In the Dominican Republic, abortion is banned without exception. Through intimate personal accounts, the film sheds light on the realities of unwanted pregnancies, forced motherhood, and clandestine abortions. Paula Cury crafts a sensory documentary in which the voices of teenage girls and women intertwine with the carefully choreographed, everyday gestures of non-professional actresses.

À partir de récits intimes, le film donne à entendre les réalités des grossesses non désirées, des maternités forcées et des avortements clandestins. Paula Cury compose ici un documentaire sensoriel où les voix d’adolescentes et de femmes se mêlent aux gestes quotidiens, soigneusement chorégraphiés, de comédiennes non-professionnelles.
