Mitch, a DJ from Geneva, has been interested in jazz and blues since his teenage years. Over the years, he has acquired a solid collection of records. Since 2002, he has offered to share them with a wider public during various parties that have taken place in the Geneva alternative scene. His repertoire covers the most diverse styles of Afro-American dance music, from the swing of the 1920s-1930s to the soul and funk of the 1960s-1970s, including rhythm 'n' blues and black rock 'n' roll. It also includes Caribbean music, especially calypso, ska, rocksteady, reggae, cumbia and Afro-Cuban music, as well as Congolese and South African music.

The records played during this DJ-set come from a collection, the Marco Botta collection, acquired by MEG in 2011. It includes nearly 5000 LPs, released on a multitude of labels around the world, the majority of which date from the 1960s-70s.

Upcoming dates: May 11 and June 8
