MEG invites its audience to the opening of the renewed permanent space and the "Encounters" exhibition.
Renewed in 2024 to replace about a third of the objects due to their fragility, the new path of the permanent exhibition reflects ongoing work on provenance research and the decolonization of museum and ethnological practices. The prologue space has been dismantled and now offers a new area with the "Encounters" exhibition, highlighting the interactions between the museum's collections and several partners, members of the communities from which the collections originate.
Public opening:
- 6:00 pm: Official speeches (MEG Foyer)
- 6:30 pm: Aperitif (MEG Auditorium)
- 7:00 pm: Presentation of the "Encounters" exhibition by Roberta Colombo Dougoud, the exhibition curator. The individuals whose portraits are featured in the exhibition will also be present for discussions with the public.
- 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm: DJ set by Dem Gyalzzz(Foyer)

Exhibitions open until 10:00 pm (free entry).
MEG Café open until 10:30 pm.
