MEG X Festival Histoire et Cité: Animal visit. Matter and sound at the heart of MEG's conservation-restoration workshop

This year, MEG is joining forces with the Festival Histoire et Cité to offer animal tours!
As a preview of the future temporary exhibition "Afrosonica. Soundscapes", which opens on 16 May 2025, the MEG's conservation-restoration workshop is opening its doors to meet the musical instruments made from animal materials that will be on display.
From sanzas to drums, this will be an opportunity to explore the richness and complexity of the work involved in restoring objects made from animal materials.
Places are limited and reservations must be made by email to accueil.meg@geneve.ch, stating your full name, telephone number and the number of people accompanying you.
If you have booked a ticket but are unable to attend, please let the MEG ticket office know (accueil.meg@geneve.ch) so that you can free up your place and give someone else a chance to take part.
