Ecological histories of photography
On the occasion of the release of the 2024 edition of the review "Transbordeur: photographie, histoire, société", the MEG invites you to a discussion with the co-editors of this issue entitled "Ecological Histories of Photography".
Transbordeur is a review of the history of photography, published by Editions Macula under the direction of Christian Joschke and Olivier Lugon. Its ambition is to show the role of photography in society, and to analyze how it has profoundly transformed our relationship with the world.
Speakers: Estelle Sohier, Associate Professor, Department of Geography and Environment, University of Geneva, and Brenda Lynn Edgar, Chief Curator, Musée d'Ethnographie, Geneva.
