Dialogue en Route

What has been the role of the major international organisations active in the promotion of human rights or humanitarianism in the "factory of inequality"?

Geneva, "capital of human rights", "home of the humanitarian movement", these terms testify to the international influence of the city, headquarters of the United Nations and the International Red Cross, in terms of respect for the human person. However, when we look at history, we see another more complex and less luminous story: that of power relationships, asymmetries, inequalities and discrimination. By meeting three key figures of international Geneva - Henri Dunant, Gustave Moynier and William Rappard - the public is invited to question this history and its current legacy, in the public space through its monuments or on a broader level. They will also find some answers to the following question: what was the role of the major international organisations active in the promotion of human rights or humanitarianism in the "manufacture of inequalities"?
