Beyond the Arctic Circle lives an ancestral people, the Sami, whose survival depends on their close relationship with nature and animals. Their Sápmi territory, formerly called Lapland, stretches from Norway to the Kola Peninsula in Russia. During this workshop, we will discover this northern people and create a painting to pay tribute to their resist ance to climate change.

Animation Adriana Batalha, MEG animator.
