Etching in soft-cut at the dry tip, on various supports.
Demonstration on small mechanical press of an engraving print: handle the tool, the "dry tip", on supports to be engraved, ink the support, prepare the paper, then print the proof by hand.

About the location

Atelier La MAISON MAURESQUE
1 rue Gaston Rey, 26000 VALENCE
  • Drôme
  • Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
This Moorish house confirms the 19th century enthusiasm for Orientalism. Only the façade is visible from the outside.
Charles Ferlin, an industrialist, bought a piece of land on July 1, 1858 to build a building with a very special character. He applied a trompe l'oeil to the facade thanks to the moulded cement technique, which made it possible to create decors to replace the traditional cut stone technique.
Ephemeral workshops of artists and artisans are hosted here (e.g.: SéVange Art).
