The Rugby World Cup has been played every 4 years since 1987. As the reference competition of international rugby, it represents the grail for any player. In France in 2023, there will be 600 players from the 5 major continents, divided into 20 teams, dreaming of the William Webb Elis Trophy awarded to the winning country!
The 10th World Cup in history
This year, it is in France that the players will be able to compete to hope to win the World Cup. The city of Bordeaux will host 5 matches at the Matmut Atlantique stadium and will be more than ever the land of Ovalia! Program :
- Ireland-Europe 2 > Saturday, September 9 in pool B.
- Wales-Fiji > Sunday September 10th in pool C
- Oceania 1-America 2 > Saturday September 16 in pool D.
- South Africa-Europe 2 > Sunday 17 September in pool B
- Fiji - Europe 1 > Saturday, September 30 in Pool C
On Monday March 15, the first tickets will be available for sale in the form of Team Packs or City Packs with an exclusivity period until April 5 for members of the 2023 Family.
An eco-responsible approach
Since March 18, 2017, the Rugby World Cup 2023 has been committed to respecting the environment, through the signing of the "15 eco-responsible commitments for sporting events" charter. Bordeaux, already committed to a sustainable and responsible approach, wishes to demonstrate these commitments to the public by applying the principles of sustainable development and eco-responsibility to all actions associated with the Rugby World Cup 2023 in the territory.
