Christmas projection on the Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux
Launched by the municipality of Bordeaux as part of the Christmas light festivities, and continuing a tradition that began in 2021, the façade of the Grand-Théâtre will be illuminated in brilliant colours thanks to a special projection from the evening of Friday 8 December, as announced by the Opéra National de Bordeaux.
To mark the start of the illuminated festivities in the city, the Opéra National de Bordeaux Chorus will give a unique musical performance on the steps of the Grand-Théâtre at 6pm on 8 December. The same evening will also see the inauguration of an 11-metre Christmas tree, created in glass and steel by designer Arnaud Lapierre, on the Place Pey-Berland, as well as the illumination of 750 Christmas decorations around the city.
