Deified, mystified and sometimes even envied…from the legendary Simorgh to the wings of the A350, birds of prey have fascinated mankind for thousands of years. Le Muséum uses this new exhibition to explore the very particular link that connects the human world with that of the « BIRDS OF PREY », combining science, culture and technology. Come and hear the whole story that begins in Persia with the Simorgh, a legendary bird that was an ancestor of the Phoenix, and continues with an encounter with the falcon-headed God Horus, Athena’s owl and even Icarus burning his wings by flying too close to the Sun…
