Contemporary art and archaeology are two disciplines that seem remote at first glance. However, the artists find in this human science, and the remains it uncovers, many themes to explore and question. In this exhibition, the intercommunal museum team created bridges between the museum’s collections and the works of 16 - or duo of - contemporary artists: paintings, sculptures, installations or photographs. By bringing together traces of the past and the art of living, this contemporary rereading allows a new look at the collections.
