The Cluster invites you to dive into a semester packed with events, focused on one of its strategic themes: AI & Security. From February to June, we offer a diverse program.
The Cluster SequoIA's thematic semesters highlight a strategic focus area through a series of events designed for all communities involved in the project: students, academics, businesses, and agencies. These events serve two key purposes. First, they provide an overview and a state-of-the-art review of academic and industrial advancements in a targeted theme. Beyond that, they foster knowledge sharing and networking among stakeholders to strengthen the community and spark new opportunities, projects, and collaborations.
The first thematic semester is naturally dedicated to AI & Security , one of the core themes of the Cluster and, more broadly, the regional ecosystem. Discussions will cover AI security, including the protection of models, algorithms, data, and hardware accelerators, as well as system reliability. The role of AI in cybersecurity will also be explored - both in traditional ways, such as using AI algorithms for intrusion and malware detection, and in more unconventional approaches, like employing chatbots to attack systems or natural language processing to analyze specifications.
In the era of generative AI, information security challenges in the media sphere (news, social networks) are also major topics, including content watermarking and traceability, message control, and argumentation and discourse analysis. Additionally, critical questions around AI usage, regulation, and societal transformation will be addressed - all essential factors in the deployment and adoption of AI in the broad field of security!
