"Hier ist alles Geometrie, Strenge und dennoch Voluptulichkeit. Sobald man den Fuß in das faszinierende Schloss von Chevregny gesetzt hat, und während der Besuch in den vier fließenden und symmetrischen Baustufen fortschreitet, beginnen die Geister der 1920er-Jahre wieder zu leben..." (Aisne Nouvelle, August 2015).
Als unbeabsichtigtes Ergebnis der Zerstörungen während der Nivelle-Offensive von Mai-Juni 1917 wurde das Château des Chaînées zwischen 1924 und 1927 vom Pariser Architekten Paul Robine wieder aufgebaut. Dieser hat die Wünsche der Gründerfamilie zu einem von England und Moderne inspirierten Haus mit einer allgegenwärtigen geometrischen Besessenheit vertont. Im Spiel mit dem Licht zwischen Transparenz und Reflexionen schafft Paul Robine ein paradoxes Werk, das zugleich traditionsverbunden und zutiefst modern ist. Der Park wurde vom Landschaftsgärtner Georges Allemand entworfen.
Kulisse mit angegebener Theatralität, die beeindrucken soll, das Schloss der Ketten wurde dennoch mit einer sparsamen Mittelverwendung und Sparsamkeit gebaut, die es zu einer Übung der Antizipation gegenüber den aktuellen 'low-tech'-Forschungen machen.
Das gesamte Schloss von Les Chaînées und sein Park sind seit November 2021 zu den historischen Denkmälern eingetragen. Er ist 2026 Preisträger der Mission Bern und der Stiftung Patrimoine als symbolträchtiges Denkmal des Départements Aisne.
Der Park ist ausnahmsweise zu den European Heritage Days 2026 für Besucher geöffnet. Die Eigentümer bieten eine historische und architektonische Führung durch das Äußere an, basierend auf alten Fotos und den Plänen des Architekten. Schilder über die Architekten und die Geschichte des Dorfes Chevregny sind hauptsächlich auf den Park, das städtische Waschhaus und die Kirche St-Médard (200 Meter entfernt) verteilt.

"Here, everything is geometry, rigor and nevertheless voluptuousness. Once you’ve set foot in the intriguing Château de Chevregny, and as the tour progresses through the four levels of construction, fluid and symmetrical, the ghosts of the 1920s start to live again..." (Aisne Nouvelle, August 2015).
Unintended fruit of the destruction that occurred during the Nivelle offensive of May-June 1917, the château des Chaînées was rebuilt between 1924 and 1927 by the Parisian architect Paul Robine. He set the wishes of the founding family to music in a modernist, English-inspired house with an omnipresent geometric obsession. Playing with light between transparency and reflections, Paul Robine creates a paradoxical work, both rooted in tradition and profoundly modern. The park was designed by landscape architect Georges Allemand.
With a theatrical setting that is both assumed and designed to impress, the Chainnae Castle was nonetheless built with an economy of means and frugality that make it an exercise in anticipation of current 'low-tech' research.
The entire Château des Chaînées and its park have been listed as Historical Monuments since November 2021. He is the 2026 laureate of the Bern mission and the Heritage Foundation as an emblematic monument of the department of Aisne.
The park is exceptionally open to visitors for the 2026 European Heritage Days. The owners offer a historical and architectural tour of the exteriors based on old photos and plans by the architect. Panels on the architects and history of the village of Chevregny are mainly distributed in the park, the municipal washhouse and the church St-Médard (200 meters).

Frutto involontario delle distruzioni avvenute durante l'offensiva Nivelle di maggio-giugno 1917, il castello delle Chaînées è stato ricostruito tra il 1924 e il 1927 dall'architetto parigino Paul Robine. Egli ha messo in musica i desideri della famiglia fondatrice di una dimora d'ispirazione inglese e modernista con l'ossessione geometrica onnipresente. Giocando con la luce tra trasparenza e riflessi, Paul Robine crea un'opera paradossale, al tempo stesso radicata nella tradizione e profondamente moderna. Il parco è stato progettato dal paesaggista Georges Allemand.

Celui-ci a mis en musique les souhaits de la famille fondatrice d'une demeure d'inspiration anglaise et moderniste à l'obsession géométrique omniprésente. Jouant avec la lumière entre transparence et reflets, Paul Robine créé une oeuvre paradoxale, à la fois ancrée dans la tradition et profondément moderne.
