Diese mittelalterlichen Keller, die lange vor dem Bau des Mont de Piété entstanden sind, erstrecken sich über eine Fläche von etwa 100 m2 und drei Ebenen, die mehreren Bauepochen entsprechen. Auf der tiefsten Ebene befinden wir uns 10 m unter dem aktuellen Straßenniveau in dem, was während des Zweiten Weltkriegs ein Luftschutzbunker war, und in einem Sandsteinuniversum, das die Spuren seiner aufeinanderfolgenden Besetzungen trägt. Zwischen der zweiten und dritten Ebene befindet sich ein bemerkenswerter und breiter Flur-Treppenhaus, das mit 17 Sandsteinbögen bedeckt ist und eine einzigartige Besonderheit in Valenciennes darstellt.

These medieval cellars, which date back to the construction of the Mont de Piété, extend over an area of about 100m2 and on three levels corresponding to several periods of construction. At the deepest level, we will find ourselves 10 meters below the current road level in what was during the Second World War an air-raid shelter, and in a sandstone universe bearing the marks of its successive occupations. Between the second and third levels is a remarkable and wide corridor-staircase covered with 17 vaults of sandstone constituting a unique feature in Valenciennes.

Queste cantine medievali, ben anteriori all'edificazione del Monte della Pietà, si estendono su una superficie di circa 100 m2 e su tre livelli corrispondenti a diverse epoche di costruzione. Al livello più profondo ci troveremo a 10 metri sotto il livello dell'attuale strada in quello che fu durante la seconda guerra mondiale un rifugio antiaereo, e in un universo di arenaria con i segni delle sue occupazioni successive. Tra il secondo e il terzo livello si trova un notevole e ampio corridoio-scala coperto di 17 volte in pietra arenaria che costituisce una particolarità unica a Valenciennes.

Ces caves médiévales bien antérieures à l'édification du Mont de Piété s'étendent sur une surface d'environ 100m² et sur trois niveaux correspondant à plusieurs époques de construction. Au niveau le plus profond nous nous trouverons à 10m sous le niveau de la voirie actuelle dans ce qui fut durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale un abri anti aérien, et dans un univers de grès portant les marques de ses occupations successives. Entre le second et le troisième niveau se trouve un remarquable et large couloir-escalier couvert de 17 voutes de grès constituant une particularité unique à Valenciennes.

Estas bodegas medievales, anteriores a la edificación del Monte de la Piedad, se extienden sobre una superficie de unos 100 m2 y tres niveles correspondientes a varias épocas de construcción. En el nivel más profundo nos encontraremos a 10 metros por debajo del nivel de la carretera actual, en lo que fue durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial un refugio antiaéreo, y en un universo de piedra arenisca con las marcas de sus ocupaciones sucesivas. Entre el segundo y el tercer nivel se encuentra un notable y amplio pasillo-escalera cubierto de 17 budas de piedra arenisca que constituye una particularidad única en Valenciennes.
