Self-guided tour with a guide
Listed as a historical monument, this French garden was built at the end of the 19th century. At the entrance, the old chassis shelter the heather plants that offer wonderful colors in spring.
By taking the path of Mediterranean plants (solidago, stachys, agapanthe...) you can travel and dream. Have fun finding the different varieties of seasonal vegetables in our plots dedicated to the vegetable garden. One of them is occupied from May to October by the stars of the place: the cucurbitaceae!
While strolling in the garden, you may want to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the place.
The place hides a lot of other treasures: a Bollée wind turbine that you can guess behind a wall, a conservatory orchard, the aromatic garden where the pleasant smell of mints floats, a multitude of plant species (agapanthes, peonies, roses, hydrangeas, tulips, hellebores, achilles...) the old stables and the inevitable saddlery, without forgetting the queen of the place: the greenhouse of the garden!
A haven of peace, the vegetable garden is also a real garden of Eden for wildlife (ponds, nest boxes, insect hotels, bat shelters...), it is also classified "refuge LPO" (bird protection league) since 2019.
