Maubuisson Abbey is an old Cistercian abbey where the nuns lived cloistered, cut off from the rest of society and its agitation. Really? Appearances can be deceiving...
The women of the high nobility, sheltered within the walls of this royal abbey, were not immune to the torments of the times they crossed. The wars and scandals of the court have left their mark on these seemingly preserved places… The Saturday guided tour places Maubuisson at the heart of history.
