Visit the medieval garden of the Couvent des Carmes by our mediator before Perrine Hautecoeur, beekeeper, takes you to the honey garden of the Miellerie des Coulmes to know everything about bees and discover the honey bar.
1 glass of apple juice from the association The fruits found will be offered at the beginning of the visit.
Established in 2009 by the Association «les Fruits retrouvé», this garden is inspired by medieval gardens often associated with abbeys or convents.
There are 3 separate gardens:

  • The garden of the simple (herbularius) built of checkerboard, shelters aromatic and medicinal condiment plants
  • Vegetable garden (horus)
  • Orchard (viridarium) with fruit tree plantations
    An educational pond and apiaries complete this ecosystem. duration: 2h15 including 30 min walk back and forth between the Convent and the sweet garden.

Public property, this garden was created in 2009 within the convent of the Carmelites (XIVth century). Of medieval inspiration, he(it) understands(includes) the garden of simple constructed in draughtboards, the vegetable garden and its old(former) vegetables, the orchard (300 fruiterers).
