Discover the different gardens of the closed «The green lady» and do not hesitate to ask the owners for a more documented visit. They will be happy to answer your questions and give you their gardening and growing tips.
A large number of trees, shrubs and perennials make up the different spaces. The names of most plants are indicated.
Ornamental trees structure the space and the various gardens. Many hydrangeas rub shoulders with roses and a wide variety of shrubs. Perennials, grasses and a beautiful collection of hostas punctuate the flower beds.
The garden has the particularity of being animated by silky chickens, Indian runners, but also the dog and cats of the house. All this little world contributes to the balance of the place.
Note:
The Palise Festival Committee organizes the Plant Festival and an empty garden on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

About the location

Le clos de « La dame verte »
11 rue du Maréchal Moncey, 25870 Palise
  • Doubs
  • Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
The clos of «La dame verte» is a garden created in 2006\. It is planted with large trees, oaks, beech, chestnut, conifers. Rarer trees have been added, structuring the different spaces.
The flower beds have been arranged over time and the inspiration of the moment. A wide variety of plants is present, hydrangeas, roses, hostas, ferns, perennial geraniums, punctuated by perennials. Ground covers are numerous and allow to limit weeding and watering. The animals are very present and move freely in the garden. They help animate the place and participate in its maintenance, especially the Indian runners.
