Come and discover the garden of Secourieu decorated with many factories: fountains, basin, follies, column, statue in the middle of centenary trees including a remarkable tree of France. During the visit you will be able to satisfy your five senses: the view while contemplating this garden so varied, the sense of smell in perceiving the bone smell of preserved boxwood, the ear which will rejoice the song of the birds and the noise of the fountains, the touch of the leaves sometimes fluffy sometimes smooth and finally the taste with a refresh that will be offered to you in the orangery during a convivial moment shared at the end of the visit.

It was probably Jean IV de Rességuier, a family of parliamentarians from Toulouse, who commissioned the park’s first improvements and who made Secourieu the rendezvous of good Toulouse society during the first half of the 18th century. The tutor of his sons, Father Jacques Vanière (1664-1739), wrote a work on life in the fields, Praedium Rusticum.
