Guided tour of the medieval garden at Trizay Abbey. Using all five senses, you will discover the garden through the eyes of the people of the Middle Ages, as well as their beliefs and practices, and in particular the place of nature and the garden in medieval times, and how man was an integral part of it. By taking a closer look at the layout of monastic gardens, we can see that in those days the garden was more than just a garden; it was a veritable metaphor for the work of God. The most beautiful illustration of this isn'it the Garden of Eden ?
