Domaine du Rayol

At the foot of the massif of Maures, diving into the sea facing Iles d'Hyères, the Domain of Rayol is a protected natural area property of the Conservatoire du Littoral since 1989. Giles Clement conceived(designed) The Garden of the Mediterranean Sea, an invitation to journey across the Mediterranean landscapes of world (California, Chile, Southern Africa, Australia, Mediterranean Basin, the Canary Islands) there and landscapes with more arid or subtropic climate (Mexico, Asia, New Zealand, subtropic America). A real world tour waits for you!

Open all year long at 9:30 am, closure(lock) according to the seasons (5:30 pm / 6:30 pm / 7:30 pm). Price lists(rates): 11€ / adult, 8€/6-17 the years, the students, the job-seekers, the handicapped persons, 26€ / fails family, free / 6 the years. Animations all year round: studios-trainings(studios-formations,workshops-trainings) on the botany, the uses(practices) of plants, the arrangement(development) of the garden and the eco-responsible gardening; thematic guided tours; activities for families with children; party(holiday) in every change of season; the 1st weekend of October celebrate Mediterranean Plants; concerts; temporary exhibitions(exposures); marine path.
