The house, in long and rich history(story) since which was built in the XVIth century, by Jacques de Beaufort, general controller of the fortifications of Nancy, is an enchanted(delighted) place, known by the botanists of the whole world. Opened to visit many years, the garden of Franche Moîtresse had been, as the house, patiently rebuilt by René Marsal and his wife, who, during 50 years, dedicated all their energy to raise(straighten) the old(former) house of Emmanuel Héré architect of Stanislas. The garden besides, trains(forms) a balcony opening such on a landscape as saw it undoubtedly Héré.
