A few steps from the garden of Luxembourg, and the district of Montparnasse, the museum Zadkine, hidden from the eyes of passers-by, enclosed in its walls covered with virgin vines is a true haven of peace, to which contributes its wonderful garden, Beating heart of the museum making it live to the rhythm of the seasons and natural light. The sculptures that inhabit it are scattered among abundant vegetation with multiple species, prunus, maples, birch… Some of the sculptures presented in the garden (Orpheus, the Torso of the destroyed city) occupy the same location as during Zadkine’s lifetime.
