This seigneurial dwelling, known here as a “castle”, was built in the mid-16th century. It belongs to the Renaissance period. But what characterizes it is its still medieval aspect: its towers pierced with shooting embrasures and its pretèche give it its defensive aspect. Its large windows were opened in the 19th century to bring the light it lacked. Since 1982, the estate has been recomposing pleasure gardens. Today, it is surrounded by four separate gardens: the Renaissance garden | the French garden | the Japanese garden and the English park.
