In 1900, the owner of the castle, Charles Claverie, commissioned incredible works for the restoration of the castle. He created a park using the famous landscape architect Jules Vacherot (1862-1925). The park is then constituted of a regular park with great perspective, to which is juxtaposed an irregular park called landscape. In 2016: Restoration of the large regular garden by Mrs Françoise Phiquepal, landscape architect, specialist in historic gardens; 2020: continuation of landscaping.

NEW! Explore the five senses of birds with our expert Simon Potter!
Birds have always fascinated us for their ability to fly. Also, some birds are known for their diverse singing, others for their unparalleled vision, but what do we really know about their sensory abilities? Do they all have good vision? Do they have sense of smell, and if so, for what? We will see that the ecological diversity of birds offers extraordinary sensory abilities, some of which humans do not even possess. The birds have not finished surprising us in their sensory skills Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2:15 pm, 3:45 pm and 5:45 pm Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 11:45 am and 2:15 pm We do not take reservations; participatory animation within the limit of available places, duration 45min.
