Located in Blanes (Costa Brava), the Marimurtra Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the Mediterranean. From the cliffs that border the sea, one can admire one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the coast and know more than four thousand plant species, mostly exotic, as well as some extraordinary specimens because of their age or size. Marimurtra is the work of a man passionate about nature. Carl Faust (Hadamar, Germany 1874-Blanes 1952) was an entrepreneur residing in Catalonia who dedicated his business man based in Catalonia, dedicated his enthusiasm, his efforts and all his assets to the realization of his dream, the Botanical Garden Marimurtra.
