The garden extends for about four hectares in an enchanting setting with the imposing image of the Majella in the background. In the garden are cultivated about 550 floristic entities in over 15 different sectors. Almost all the entities in cultivation are native, that is, originating from this territory, among which numerous endemic (over 60) such as Aquilegia majellensis, Astragalus aquilanus, Centaurea tenoreana, Soldanella minima subsp. samnitica, the latter symbol of the garden. In the garden are represented the most significant environments of the Park, while a part is dedicated to thematic areas such as medicinal plants, the arboretum, the orchard, etc. In the garden there is also a nursery for the reproduction and sale of native species. The structure also houses the Park Herbarium, a collection of about 3000 dried plants for taxonomic studies and on the distribution of species in the territory.
