Rural marauding
Discover the small fauna of the meadow, guided by Arnaud Roque Bernou, educational referent and nature-environment facilitator at the Nature Observatory of Colmar.
Located in the city center, this meadow is composed of annual, biennial and perennial flowers, in various colors that are adapted to the climate of the region. They bloom from spring to fall. It is a beautiful alternative to grass and has many benefits. A source of biodiversity, it contributes to the conservation of places of life and refuge for small wildlife such as birds, bats, butterflies and other pollinators. Oriented towards eco-gardening, it requires little intervention and requires little or no watering. This makes it a good response to climate change.
