Miradolo Castle is located next to the hills of Pinerolo, at the entrance of Val Chisone and Val Pellice, where the Monviso gives the eye the spectacle of its grandeur. The residence has eighteenth-century origins and belonged to the Massel di Caresana and Cacherano di Bricherasio families until 1950\. Since 2008 it has been home to the Cosso Foundation, which has taken care of its recovery and transformed it into a cultural hub.
In the first half of the nineteenth century the park takes on a romantic landscape, with an extension of over 6 hectares and a vaguely oval shape, enriched by loops of lush vegetation that overlook a large central lawn. It is embellished by a neo-Gothic citroniera and a round tower.
The park houses centuries-old specimens of Ginkgo Biloba, sequoia, tassodio, lyrodendro and a giant bamboo forest. Numerous waterways make it an ideal habitat for various animal species and a collection of hydrangeas. In 2018 five trees were recognized as of monumental interest and
