The Blue Bamboo Garden, where nearly fifty species of bamboo and several hundred trees, shrubs and perennials grow, takes its name from the colour of the young thatch of Phyllostachys iridescens. Planted in the course of the marvellous discoveries and a passionate curiosity, this place, in perpetual evolution, gathers many plants chosen for their foliage, their scent, their rarity sometimes, their often Asian origin; they form between them, thanks to them, a somewhat labyrinthine and mysterious landscape, where the surprise and sensuality of shapes and colors evoke recollection and poetic impressions.
