Jardin de la Reine

Historic public garden offering on 4 400 m2 a green setting right in the centre of the city. It is a part(party) of the historic site of the first garden of Plants created by Richer de Belleval from 1595, associated with the old(former) commissariat by an arch built by a floor, replaced with a metallic footbridge of the XIXth century. He(It) contains a mountain similar to that of the Jardin des plantes. His(Her,Its) practically unchanged environmental composition since his(her,its) creation also receives(holds) archaeological elements. Kitchen garden. A project of emphasising must be thrown(launched) by the City. Currently a good many of volunteers, amateurs, gardeners, in cooperation with the association «Let us save the garden of Queen and commissariat» put a lot into the emphasising of this place initially dedicated to the education(teaching) of botany for the faculty of medicine and the public awareness.
Open from April till September every Saturday the afternoons and for European Heritage Days.
