The varied programme of musical contributions**,** market stalls and play opportunities ties in with the life of an esteemed noble woman: Christiane Eberhardine, Princess of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, Elector of Saxony and Queen of Poland was considered a charitable and loved Schloss Pretzsch, which she received as a gift from her husband August the Strong for the birth of her first child. It made the Renaissance castle overlooking the Elbe its main residence, the baroque park from its time later became a landscape park. The highlight of the festival is a play played by Pretzscher citizens.
