At origin, the current Kitchen garden of the King was a small part(party) of the garden of the castle which preceded the new town. At the end of the XVIIth century, a description evokes fruit trees, two cows in a meadow, a flowerbed and a closed vegetable garden... In the XIXth century, the vegetable garden sees its space being reduced up to the space which we know today, along the street Toufaire. The City is possessing it since 2002\. It is currently a pedagogic vegetable garden which receives school visits and general public.
Area: 2 000 m ²
