The Camifolia Garden of Chemillé-en-Anjou is a green setting in the heart of the Hyrôme valley. It presents more than 600 species of medicinal, aromatic and tinctorial plants with amazing properties. Created in 1976 by a group of producers in the garden of the town hall at the time, the Camifolia Garden testifies to a secular activity of the territory. Originally a public garden, it has undergone several renovations over the years. In 1996, the association Les Amis du jardin Camifolia in synergy with the Tourist Office and the community of municipalities of the Chemillé region, set out to develop an educational, cultural and tourist site around the garden. The Camifolia Garden was inaugurated in 2008\. It received the label «Jardin botanique de France et des pays francophones» in 2010 and the label «Jardin Remarquable» in 2018 by the Ministry of Culture.
