Entirely enclosed by walls, the garden is located in the center of the village of Portets, behind a house of the early nineteenth century facing the Garonne. In several areas ("rooms", English-style), it includes a well, a small fountain basin, flower beds (mixed borders) and planted with ornamental shrubs, roses, large trees (linden, birch, charms, magnolia, maple, chestnut, ginkgo), and a vegetable garden, all grown without herbicides or pesticides.
