In connection with the workshop "Perfume in grass", along the paths of the Garden and along the senses, come to meet the Mediterranean plants, to discover their adaptations to the climate and especially their multiple scents. Here we are at the crossroads of their uses: medicinal, food and aromatic!
The senses are evocative and sometimes misleading: come and play with plants in the "squares of the senses" where you can touch them and question your sense of smell...

The Jardin des plantes of Montpellier is the most old(former) royal garden to have reached us. Created under Henry IV (1593) by Richer de Belleval, doctor and outstanding botanist, he served as model in all botanical gardens of France. Boissier of Wild builds the first conservatories and Broussonnet there create one there orangery in 1804\. Besides its initial, scientific and pedagogic vocation, and its patrimonial dimension(size), this garden presents more than 2 000 open-air plant, cultivated sorts(species) on 4,6 hectares, and 600 m ² in conservatory today. Collection of cystes, curative, naturalized, succulent, trees remarkable for their size or for their curiosity and their botanical interest. Entomological faun(fauna,crowd).
