The Fête des Jardiniers, an opportunity to learn and improve
During the weekends of June 1 and 2, the Gardeners Festival is held at the Château du Lude. This great meeting of garden lovers has gathered for 30 years about sixty exhibitors. Alongside nurserymen, horticulturists, craftsmen, second-hand dealers and producers of local delicacies, professionals run workshops. They give visitors their good advice for a well-kept garden:
- Pascal Prieur gives good advice for a reasoned pruning of ornamental shrubs
- Romain Loyau gives his technique for cutting, grafting and sowing
- Stéphanie Bloc offers visitors to learn how to use plants for their benefits with the making of herbal teas
- With Stéphanie Petit, children learn to garden. They learn to pot flowers
- Aurélie Vade, animator at Truffaut, offers children a creative atlier to raise children’s awareness of nature.
The workshops are included in the entrance fee of the Fête des Jardiniers, without reservation and continuous on the weekend.
