The seven-hectare Leonardo da Vinci Park, crossed by a small tributary of the Loire, is one of the charms of the visit to Clos Lucé. Along a shady walk, he invites you to discover some twenty models of Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions reconstituted at full size and forty giant canvases featuring his paintings and drawings. Kids love getting in the tank, spinning the helicopter’s propeller or running the squirrel wheel.

By car/coach: Paris-Amboise by the A10 motorway (exit Château-Renault-Amboise) – 210 km. For buses: access to the parking lot of the rue du Clos Lucé is by the avenue Léonard de Vinci (GPS: N 47 24’ 37’ E 0 59’ 29’). By train: Paris Montparnasse > Saint Pierre des Corps in 1 hour by TGV (the station is 20 km from Amboise, transfer possible by train or by road). Paris Austerlitz > Amboise, direct TER in 1h40 (Amboise train station is 2 km from Clos Lucé).
