This workshop invites participants to experiment with this monochrome photographic technique with amazing results. This process invented in the 19th century was developed in 1842 by botanist Anna Atkins. Participants will be invited to observe the plants available in the Abbey gardens and select a few. They will create a composition with water, sun and a photosensitive solution based on ferric salts and obtain a Prussian blue, cyan blue photographic print.
You can take a free tour of the historic monument, its gardens and browse the current exhibition "Musical instruments, from tradition to the unusual".
