Château de Preisch

In the heart of a green setting, awaken to the scents of the vegetable garden in permaculture, rediscover the songs of birds in the park, the colorful shades of the rich biodiversity preserved, all during a free and serene stroll. A hundred hectares await you to relax, whether at the edge of the moat, in the shade of a bicentenary magnolia, in a field near the sheep, or in the forest of the castle. A tea room will be offered with homemade homemade herbal teas. On site, you can also have fun with the ten large wooden games in the vegetable garden, or go on a treasure hunt in search of animal prints and a missing flower.

About the location

Parc du château de Preisch
2, rue des lilas, Basse-Rentgen, Moselle, Grand Est
  • Moselle
  • Grand Est
The English park of the castle of Preisch was developed from 1812 to emphasise the feudal clod of the old(former) fortified castle. Its double staves(moats), its footbridges in cast iron and its trees bicentenaries make a highly romantic place. A botanical route(course) orientates the visitor. The old(former) kitchen garden became a garden of topiary expressionists imagined by Hubert Puzenat, architect landscapist.
