Listen to the birds!

Learn to recognize bird songs

Once again, the National Museum and Domain of the Château de Pau is delighted to host Ecocène’s activities in the Renaissance gardens. Follow the signs and you will find them behind the medieval water cistern, behind the fish pond. Do not hesitate to stop at their booth, to play, search, identify the animals by their cries. Be careful not to be trapped! The Ecocene never move to the castle without their cover on biodiversity and what it takes to make us think about the received ideas! Enough to surprise young and old!

About the location

Domaine national du château de Pau ou château Henri IV
Rue du Château, 64000 Pau, Pyrénées Atlantiques

Park and historic gardens of the castle. Garden neo-Renaissance crashed by flowers, by vegetables, simple and poisons; forest domain in spur.
Area: 22 hectares.
In 2015 the Small Brigade and its facetious characters pervade gardens. Suits(Costumes) and make-ups are entirely natural: chalk of colour, herbs, sheets(leaves), branches, foam, cardboard(box). Here a portrait in close-up of a green gnome with big(great) pointed ears.
