Between nature, biodiversity and landscape. Guided tours of the Lauretum Landscape Park and Ligustri Garden in Loreto Aprutino (PE).
The Lauretum Landscape Park and the CEA of regional interest Giardino dei Ligustri organize guided tours in the gardens on the occasion of 1 and 2 June 2024 to discover nature, biodiversity and cultural landscape of Loreto.
The landscape park extends over 3 hectares, incorporating within it naturalistic and rural areas of interest with panoramic views of the village of Loreto Aprutino. They are the result of an intense work of restoration and redevelopment of green spaces, with the realization of articulated paths and thematic areas.
In these gardens the 5 senses are totally enhanced by the presence of multiple environments: the contemplation of the rural landscape, the beauty of the tree and shrub essences, the scent of flowers and medicinal herbs, the presence of water through springs and fountains.
Biodiversity explodes in all its beauty within the landscape park. Visitors will be accompanied in the most important areas to discover also the continuous activities of management and expansion of the green heritage, from new reforestation with native essences, to the realization of lavender gardens and medicinal plants, in addition to the new hedges to attract birdlife, redevelopment and expanded wetlands.
