At 18:00: opening of the canecelli and botanical walk among the colors and scents of the Venetian Botanical Garden of Bisceglie with the expert Angelo Porcelli.
An opportunity to discover the latest blooms before summer and anecdotes related to the garden and its plants.
On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis, the visit will be accompanied by a special moment of reading the Canticle delle Creature, followed by the verses of the poet Serena Mansueto. The event is held under the patronage of the National Committee for the eighth centenary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi.
Biography of the poet:
Serena Mansueto (1987) was born in Apulia and lives in Bisceglie. He made his debut in poetry in 2020. The statue of inexistence (Arcolaio, 2024), his last silloge, was a finalist at the Genoa-Valéry Prize and won the third prize, as an unpublished collection, at the XXIX edition of the Renato Giorgi Prize. It is included in the anthology I cieli della Preistoria. Nuovissima poesia pugliese (Marco Saya, 2022) and is the editor of the lit-blog Laboratori Poesia.

Ore 18:00: apertura canecelli e passeggiata botanica tra colori e profumi dell’Orto Botanico Veneziani di Bisceglie con l’esperto Angelo Porcelli .
Un'opportunità per scoprire le ultime fioriture prima dell'estate e gli aneddoti legati al giardino e alle sue piante.
In occasione degli 800 anni dalla morte di San Francesco, la visita sarà accompagnata da un momento speciale di lettura del Cantico delle Creature, seguito dai versi della poetessa Serena Mansueto. L'evento si tiene con il patrocinio del Comitato Nazionale per l’ottavo centenario della morte di San Francesco d’Assisi.
Biografia della poetessa:
Serena Mansueto (1987) è nata in Puglia e vive a Bisceglie. Ha esordito in poesia nel 2020. La statua inesistenza (Arcolaio, 2024), sua ultima silloge, è stata finalista al Premio Genova-Valéry e ha ottenuto il terzo premio, come raccolta inedita, alla XXIX edizione del Premio Renato Giorgi. È inclusa nell’antologia I cieli della Preistoria. Nuovissima poesia pugliese (Marco Saya, 2022) ed è redattrice del lit-blog Laboratori Poesia.

18h00 : ouverture des canélets et promenade botanique entre les couleurs et les parfums du jardin botanique vénitien de Bisceglie avec l’expert Angelo Porcelli.
Une occasion de découvrir les dernières floraisons avant l’été et les anecdotes liées au jardin et à ses plantes.
À l’occasion des 800 ans de la mort de saint François, la visite sera accompagnée d’un moment spécial de lecture du Cantique des Créatures, suivi par les vers de la poétesse Serena Mansueto. L’événement se tient sous le patronage du Comité national pour le huitième centenaire de la mort de saint François d’Assise.

Serena Mansueto (1987) est née dans les Pouilles et vit à Bisceglie. Il a fait ses débuts en poésie en 2020. La statue de l’inexistence (Arcolaio, 2024), son dernier silloge, a été finaliste au Prix Gênes-Valéry et a obtenu le troisième prix, comme collection inédite, à la XXIX édition du Prix Renato Giorgi. Elle est incluse dans l’anthologie Les cieux de la Préhistoire. Nuovissima poesia pugliese (Marco Saya, 2022) et est rédactrice du lit-blog Laboratori Poesia.
