Discovery of the botanical garden of the Bullukian Foundation

In 2024, the Bullukian Foundation undertook major renovations to its garden, in collaboration with the architectural firm CH.V. This project, entitled Le Dernier Caravansérail, gave birth to two distinct spaces: a scenic garden and a botanical garden. Designed in partnership with the CRBA (Centre de Ressources de Botanique Appliquée), the botanical garden showcases plants linked to Armenia, the country of origin of Napoleon Bullukian, founder of the Foundation.
This space also houses works by contemporary artists such as Lionel Sabatté and Jérémy Gobé, as well as ceramics specially made for the garden in collaboration with the Muscari association.
Located in the heart of Lyon, close to Place Bellecour, the Bullukian Foundation offers a true oasis, symbol of its history and cultural commitment. This new garden, integrated into the Foundation’s contemporary art centre, is an open-access space dedicated to the dissemination of art.
