About the location

Cloître des Récollets
1, rue des Récollets, Metz, Moselle, Grand Est
  • Moselle
  • Grand Est
The garden of the medicinal plants of the Recollets is located in the heart of the city, in the shade of the sharp arches of the Franciscan cloister of the thirteenth century. The hundred or so plants presented have, all, recognized traditional therapeutic properties. The garden reconnects with its original vocation: the cultivation of medicinal plants, which the monks used to treat the sick.
