Centre culturel départemental de l'abbaye de Saint-Riquier
Place de l'Eglise 80135 SAINT-RIQUIER
The abbey of Saint-Riquier, founded in the first half of the 7th century, was between 790 and 1131, one of the very first places of culture in Western Europe. Today, part of the abbey has been transformed into a departmental cultural center, through a rich and diverse cultural program composed of shows, exhibitions and cultural actions. The partnerships developed with Radio France and the Centre Pompidou, offer unique artistic encounters. Every summer, you will also find the Festival de Saint-Riquier, an unmissable musical event that shines in the north-west of France. And then, in February 2020, Studio Créa was inaugurated. This new youth space at the Saint-Riquier cultural centre offers workshops on artistic practices and meetings with artists and cultural professionals throughout the year.
