The garden is a given form of nature, entirely created by man. In monasteries, these spaces of nature have in addition to their nourishing or therapeutic virtues, a symbolic significance. In Moyenmoutier, this garden will be replaced little by little, in the XIX century, by the factories of the textile industry. And then, the industrial decline, it is a new garden that will be reborn. On the Route des 3 Abbayes, Moyenmoutier the baroque rises, majestic and elegant, on the banks of the Rabodeau.
