Every first June weekend, the Ministry of Culture and Communication invites the citizens in (Re) to discover parks and gardens of their departments during a national initiative. This year, "Meetings(Appointments) in gardens" will get organised around theme "Europe of gardens". For opportunity(occasion), the Rose garden will open its doors free on Sunday, June 3rd of 10 h 00 - 19 00. Discover the exceptional collection of old(former) roses of the Rose garden and participate in guided tours, workshops(studios) and demonstrations for every knowledge on the interview(maintenance) of rosebushes. Activities are especially also proposed for the children.

  For its third edition(publishing), the Rose garden of Val-de-Marne organises its competition(help) of works of arts on theme " The surrealist rose ". Paintings(Boards) will be exposed(explained) during "Meeting(Appointment) in gardens" on June 3rd. A jury compound(made up) of members of the Rose garden of Val-de-Marne, of the association The friends of the Rose garden and the representatives of the city of the Hectare ÿ-les-Roses, will examine all paintings(paints) and award prices(prizes). The public will be able to vote and this note(mark) will matter(count) half of the final note(mark). 24 prices(prizes) will be awarded (old(former) modern, lilac and rosebushes, and the material(equipment) of painting(paint)).
